| Microscopy Training Classes |
A Microscopy Fundamentals training class is held on a regular basis or based on demand. Users are required to register for the training class by sending an email tdiefenbach@partners.org with a grant number, PI name, and contact information. The training fee is deducted from the first hour of microscope use time. Each class is 1.5 hours long and provides a general introduction to the principles and applications of microscopy, including fluorescence microscopy and confocal imaging. |
| Imaging System-Specific Training |
Individual Training on the Microscopy microscopes is also provided. Users have a choice of the Zeiss LSM 510 confocal, the Zeiss/RPI high speed epifluorescence system, or a simple manual fluorescence microscope with color CCD camera and simple image capture software. Please contact tdiefenbach@partners.org to schedule individual training. A quick reference guide to the operation of the LSM510 confocal microscope may be found here. |
